How often the register updates
The register is republished as a complete file, usually every working day. Nothing is announced; the file simply replaces the previous one.
Publication pattern
Over the twelve months to September 2026 the Home Office published 234 versions of the register: on working days only, between 08:00 and 12:00 UK time on most of them, and never at a weekend. The longest gap between versions was seven days.
How this site follows it
We check the publication page twice each working day, after the morning window and again in the late afternoon. If a new file has appeared we download it, compare it with the previous version, and publish the differences on the changes page and its RSS feed. The version currently shown was published 4 September 2026.
What the dates on this site mean
- Register published — the date the Home Office released the file we are showing.
- On the register since — the earliest publication we hold in which the organisation appears. Our copies begin 19 August 2026, so an organisation present from the start may have been licensed long before.
- Removed — the first publication in which the organisation no longer appeared.
Common questions
- Is the register updated at weekends?
- In the year to September 2026 it was never published on a Saturday or Sunday. Gaps of up to a week occur around bank holidays.
