Who runs this site

SponsorDirectory is published by No Fear Tech Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. For the personal data described below, No Fear Tech Ltd is the data controller. We are not part of the Home Office and we do not give immigration advice.

Where the information on this site comes from

Sponsor entries are copied from the Register of licensed sponsors: workers published by the Home Office under the Open Government Licence. The register lists organisations; where an organisation is a sole trader or partnership its entry may be a person's name, published by the Home Office in that form. Company details come from the Companies House public register. We do not add personal information to either.

If your name appears on the register

The entry is the Home Office's. If you object to our republishing it, email us with the entry as it appears and we will withhold the page while keeping a record that stops it reappearing when the register next updates. The source entry can only be changed by the Home Office.

What we collect, and for how long

Enquiries to a regulated adviser

We store the situation you chose, your name, email address, any phone number and message, the page you sent it from, and the consent wording you agreed to. Contact details are encrypted at rest. We pass the enquiry to one regulated immigration adviser or solicitor, who then becomes responsible for what they do with it and contacts you directly. We delete our copy after 12 months. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.

Claiming an entry

If you ask to manage an organisation's entry we store your work email address (encrypted), its domain, and anything you write in the role and note fields. We use it only to check the claim, to email you the outcome, and to sign you in if it is approved. An unapproved claim is deleted after 12 months. An approved claim is kept while it is in force, because it records who may edit the entry, and is deleted when it is revoked. Our lawful basis is your consent.

Buying the dataset, the API, or a featured placement

Payment is taken by Stripe, which acts as our processor and holds the card details; they never reach this site. We keep the Stripe identifiers, the amount, and your email address (encrypted) so we can deliver what you bought and answer questions about it. The email address is deleted after 12 months; the transaction record is kept as long as we must keep accounting records. An API key is stored only as a one-way hash, so it cannot be recovered here, only replaced. Our lawful basis is the contract with you.

Analytics

Google Analytics runs only if you accept it on the cookie banner. It sets cookies to count visits; there is no advertising and no cross-site tracking. We also count page views per entry and a small set of events (a search, a form started, a link followed) without cookies, without your IP address, and without anything identifying you. You can withdraw consent with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Cookies

Four, and none of them advertising:

• A consent record, so the banner does not ask again. Set only when you answer it.
• Google Analytics cookies, set only if you accept.
• A sign-in cookie if you manage an organisation's entry, and one if you are the site administrator. Both are http-only and expire.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and database run on a server we control in the EU. Stripe processes payments. Resend sends transactional email. Google Analytics receives what you consent to. A regulated adviser receives an enquiry you send them, and only that. We do not sell personal data, and the dataset we do sell contains organisations, not people, beyond the names the Home Office itself publishes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to it. We answer within one calendar month. Where our basis is consent you can withdraw it at any time, which stops future use but does not undo what was already done.
